MIRAS
THE INVISIBLE
"Miras" is a turning point in the artistic career of singer Desirée Garcia Miras. The goal of our collaboration was to create a high quality visual and conceptual identity for her solo debut, coherent with the artist's inner world and the content of her work, which encompasses music, vocal experimentation and performance. Accompanying her work to a level beyond the musical, into the world of art.
The strategy began with the naming, calling the artist with the unique name MIRAS, which is her middle name and conveys breadth, projection and connection, as well as being memorable and sonorously attractive.
The challenge has been to translate the concept of the Invisible, which gives the title to his work, into a tangible, forceful and at the same time light visual language. Inspired by a quote from the French painter Yves Klein who stated:
"blue is the invisible becoming visible", because it is a color that has immaterial values beyond what can be seen or touched.
The discs were produced as a limited and numbered edition. Each hand-painted cover becomes a disc-artwork that invites not only to observe, but also to touch. And later to listen to the music, bringing together the senses to taste "The Invisible".
Klein blue is the common thread of "The Invisible" materializing the inner world of the singer and making it visible on her own skin. Image of the communication made for the launch and communication campaign, as well as in social networks and print.
Building from scratch the visual universe of an artist who does not move in commercial circuits has allowed us to create a differential and elegantly daring identity for her solo debut. Her work encompasses music, vocal experimentation and performance. We have taken her work to a visual level beyond the musical territory, into the world of art.
